Developing a Database System for International Switch Planning and Engineering

In May 1988, a meeting was held between AT&T International switch planners and systems engineers to discuss the data used by the international switch planners who are responsible for planning the international traffic networks. The meeting was held because several data-related problems have become obvious since the introduction of the prototype Planning System for International (PSI).
