Development of v.h.f. field intensity measuring sets

Field-intensity measuring sets for the 60 Mc/s, 200 Mc/s and the police-radio bands have been developed. All employ frac12 lambda doublet aerials instead of the more usual loops and all embody amplification at h.f., thereby combining high sensitivity with selectivity. The design procedure is described and some actual measurements given.
