This book is strictly a sequel to the book entitled Document Formatting and Typesetting on the UNIX(TM) System [Gehani 1985]. We assume that the reader is familiar with the material discussed in the first book: specifically, the reader should be familiar with typesetting terminology, basic formatting concepts and UNIX(TM) system document preparation facilities such as mm. tbl. pic and eqn. The goal of this book is to discuss important UNIX(TM) system document preparation facilities that were either not discussed or were only discussed briefly in the first book. Specifically, the facilities we will discuss in this book are grap. mv. ms and troff.
