DSP-enabled OFDM superchannel transmission

Digital signal processing has enabled the generation and detection of orthogonalfrequency-division-multiplexing based superchannels that advantageously leverage parallelism to achieve high data-rate, high spectral-efficiency, and potentially low cost-per-bit.
