Dynamic auto-negotiation with real-time transponders in software defined optical networks

We designed a transponder with dynamic auto-negotiation allowing fast adaptations to ensure traffic quality. This solution has been implemented using FPGA, Raspberry Pi and a commercial optical transponder and validated in terms of latency.
