Dynamic eigenstates of polarization

We propose a unifying theory of dynamic eigen state of polarization (DESP) to describe the sensitibity of the polarization for the optical medium. We find out that there exists an input state of the polarization where the output state of the polarization is insensitive to the variation of any parameter of the optical medium. By applying this concept of DESP, we discuss a wide range of the polarization phenomena, such as polarization control, polarization sensitivity of the temperature, and polarization-mode-dispersion.
