Easy Optical Defragmentation with SDN Controlled Tunable Transmitter

To ease automatic optical defragmentation, we present a programmable SDN controlled transmitter prototype with a fast wavelength and bitrate switching. It can be tuned in 0.5 ms over all C-band from any 25Gbit/s to 100Gbit/s with fast tunable laser and specific defragmentation algorithm.
