Electron Transmission through Silicon Stacking Faults

We apply a recently developed formalism for calculating electron transmission across interfaces to silicon stacking faults. These systems are of interest both in terms of the effect their scattering will have on transport in silicon and because they can be viewed as prototypical heterostructures in which the different materials are different orientations of silicon.
