Performance Analysis of Intelligent Networks

Intelligent Network (IN) architecture is one of the most promising architecture which will provide the framework for integrating the voice, data and video signals on communication networks in 1990's. While the standards for the IN architecture are still evolving, the AT&T IN architecture is one which has potential to guide the evolution. Therefore, we present, briefly, in the first part of the paper the AT&T IN architecture and the services it can provide.
