AusNOG 2025

Pullman Conference & Event Centre, Albert Park - Melbourne, VIC, Australia
Looking forward seeing you at AusNOG on September 2~4, 2025 for those lucky to get tickets to the sold out event.
We're excited to participate in AusNOG 2025, a premier event for network operators and experts in Australia. This year's event promises to be an exciting gathering of industry professionals, with a focus on the latest trends and innovations in networking.
In a world of explosive data growth and escalating network demands, the future of your network hinges on its ability to scale, remain secure, and operate with maximum efficiency. As a part of AUSNOG 2025, Nokia will be showcasing its latest-generation routing platforms - including the 7750 SR core/internet edge/internet backbone routers powered by FP5 routing silicon, along with the 7730 SXR aggregation and 7250 IXR access systems. Trusted by customers worldwide, these cutting-edge platforms are designed to help you build a secure and reliable network that is fully prepared for tomorrow's demands, ensuring your infrastructure can handle the massive growth in traffic and services with unparalleled performance and resilience.
Demos
Title: Nokia Data Centre Fabrics with Event Driven Automation (EDA)
Abstract: EDA allows operators to build, scale and operate Data Centre Fabric infrastructure with the declarative power of Kubernetes.
Operators can define high-level intents for underlay configuration, virtual network overlays, and other service components. Real-time, gNMI-powered streaming telemetry enables instant response to fabric events and the ability to mitigate failures, inspect the operational state and diagnose issues faster, improving overall performance. In this demo we will show you how you can bootstrap a DC Fabric in minutes from a basic declarative template and inspect the results in real time.
Title: Rapid mitigation of Botnet DDoS attacks with Deepfield Defender
Abstract: This demo showcases anti-DDoS capabilities & multi-dimensional traffic insight functionalities of Nokia Deepfield that are applicable to both Communication Service Providers, DC operators and large Enterprises.
Presentations:
Conference Day 1 - Wednesday 3rd September
11:10 - 11:40 | Building AI Clusters: What Network Engineers need to know Brian Walsh – Nokia Abstract: Networking is at the heart of enabling AI’s transformative potential, where high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity between GPUs, storage systems, and across datacenters is critical for maximizing the performance in AI cluster. In recent years, the hyperscaler and vendor communities have made significant strides in adapting and optimizing Ethernet to meet the demanding requirements of these environments. This talk discusses the key architecture elements of AI clusters from a network engineering perspective and looks forward to the role that UltraEthernet will play. Attendees will gain insights into the challenges, solutions, and emerging opportunities for network engineers in this rapidly evolving domain. |
Conference Day 2 - Thursday 4th September
09:15 - 09:45 | Cryptography in the Quantum Era Paresh Khatri – Nokia Abstract: As the threat of quantum computers becomes ever more real, cryptography is at a crossroads. In this session, we will provide an overview of how classical cryptography can be comprised by the power of quantum computing and what the post-quantum world looks like. |
