JANOG 57

japanese building

Knowledge Capital Congress Convention Center - JAM BASE, Osaka, Japan

Please join us at JANOG 57 to engage with the Japanese network operator community and explore the technologies shaping the future of IP, data center, and optical networks.

JANOG is a community-driven forum dedicated to the engineers, operators, and architects who design, build, and operate the internet. The meeting brings together network professionals from service providers, cloud operators, data centers, research institutions, and vendors to share operational experience, technical insight, and practical solutions.

Join us to explore how Nokia is enabling scalable, high-performance networks to support AI-driven workloads, GPU clusters, and next-generation optical connectivity.

Experience at the Nokia Booth

Nokia experts will showcase and share technical insights across:

AI / GPU Fabric Networking

  • High-performance Ethernet fabrics designed for AI and HPC environments
  • Low-latency, lossless networking to support large-scale GPU clusters
  • Architectures and operational considerations for building AI-ready networks

ICE X Coherent Optics

  • Multi haul 800G coherent pluggables delivering long reach performance in compact QSFP DD/OSFP form factors
  • Intelligent, interoperable design supporting open, multi vendor optical environments
  • Power efficient, flexible architectures enabling point to point and point to multipoint deployments for modern transport networks

Optical Networking Portfolio

  • High-capacity coherent optics for metro, regional, and data center interconnect
  • Open and flexible optical solutions supporting multi-vendor environments
  • Power-efficient approaches to scaling network capacity

Lightning Talk Session

  • Title: Achieving the Dream: A 1.6 Tbps Interface with FlexE 2.0
  • Speaker: Yasuo Kashimura, Nokia Japan
  • Session Overview:
With the introduction of FlexE 2.0, bonding of 200G/400GE links has become possible. As real-world implementations using FlexE 2.0 with 400G become available, we evaluated how its traffic balancing behavior differs from traditional LAG. This session will present our findings and insights based on hands-on testing.

We invite JANOG participants to visit the Nokia booth, see the demos firsthand, and engage directly with our technical experts.

We look forward to meeting you at JANOG 57 in Osaka!
