Practical Information
Climate
San Diego in September offers mild, coastal weather—ideal for conferences and outdoor activities. Average daytime temperatures range from 75°F to 82°F (24°C to 28°C), with cooler evenings dipping into the mid-60s°F (18°C). The city enjoys low humidity and minimal rainfall during this time, with plenty of sunshine and refreshing ocean breezes. Attendees are encouraged to pack light, breathable clothing for daytime comfort and a light sweater or jacket for cooler evenings or air-conditioned indoor spaces.
Currency
The currency in San Diego is the US Dollar ($).
Dress Code
The dress code for SReXperts is business casual.
Electricity/Voltage
San Diego, like the rest of the United States, operates on a standard electrical voltage of 120 volts AC at a frequency of 60 Hz. This voltage is compatible with most North American appliances and electronics.
However, travelers from countries with different voltage standards, such as 220-240 volts, may need a voltage converter or transformer to safely use their devices in San Diego. Additionally, most outlets in San Diego accommodate two- or three-pronged plugs with flat blades, so international travelers may also require plug adapters to fit their devices into the outlets.
Visas
A citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter the United States generally must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveller’s passport, a travel document issued by the traveller’s country of citizenship. Certain international travellers may be eligible to travel to the United States without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel. The Visa section of this website is all about U.S. visas for foreign citizens to travel to the United States.

If you require an official Nokia invitation letter to apply for a visa, please contact your Nokia representative to request your official Nokia letter of invitation.
