A few days before your first day, you'll receive a welcome email with all the essential details, including the office location and what to expect. Please remember to bring any required pre-onboarding documents with you.

Your onboarding journey with us is designed to be smooth and supportive, and it's divided into three key phases:
- Pre-boarding:
Your journey begins the moment you receive your offer. During this phase, leading up to your start date, your dedicated Onboarding Success Partner will be your main point of contact. They'll guide you through the process, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you're well-prepared for your first day. Key steps in this phase include:
- Completing pre-boarding paperwork
- Providing necessary personal information
- Finalizing your employment contract
- Receiving essential details for a seamless Day 1
- Onboarding:
Your official onboarding kicks off with a warm welcome. From there, we’ll help you integrate into the team and company culture, ensuring you have the tools, resources, and connections to thrive.
- Post-boarding:
Even after your first weeks, you won’t be navigating alone. During the post-boarding phase, you’ll continue receiving support from your buddy, team, and Onboarding Success Partner - helping you settle in and succeed in your new role.
Your onboarding journey, from the moment you accept our offer to your first 30 days with us, is designed to smoothly integrate you into the company and your new role.
You'll start with a comprehensive orientation session where we'll cover key aspects of our company, your benefits, professional development opportunities, and essential day-to-day operations. Beyond that, you'll also participate in specialized training sessions tailored to your role and team.
You'll have a dedicated Onboarding Success Partner as your main point of contact throughout the entire onboarding process. They'll reach out to you shortly and will be available to answer any questions you may have.
You'll receive all the necessary tools and access credentials during your first few days. We'll provide you with specific details about how to access everything closer to your start date.

Yes, we have a buddy program at Nokia, and you'll be paired with a buddy to support you during your onboarding.
Your People Manager will discuss your specific roles and responsibilities with you shortly after your first day.
During your onboarding, you'll be introduced to your team and close colleagues. Depending on your role, you'll also have the opportunity to connect with members of other departments.
At Nokia, we use a global performance evaluation framework, which your People Manager will discuss with you. We also value your feedback and will invite you to share your thoughts on your onboarding experience.
