ATCA300 - A Specification for Transmission and Access Equipment

AdvancedTCA300 is emerging as a viable option for certain applications in the telecommunication networking space. ATCA300 is designed to serve two important system level needs that are not well served by the much more familiar 600mm AdvancedTCA standard: the need to fit a full functionality system into a 300 mm equipment depth, and the need to support front only equipment access. To serve these needs, the ATCA300 standards body started with the AdvancedTCA specification, preserved its important capabilities like backplace interconnect and system management, and made minimal modifications.
