EMSP Electrical Design Process

The Enhanced Modular Signal Processor (EMSP) Program is a large project that is developing the next-generation standard signal processor. Based on an innovative data flow architecture, EMSP will meet the tactical and strategic signal processing requirements through the year 2000. EMSP is designed to evolve, primarily through technology enhancements, toward higher performance and reliability while significantly reducing volume/power and preserving the basic architecture and high-level software. Due to this evolution, the EMSP electrical design is a multi-phase effort.
