The Magnetic Microstructure and Flux Dynamics of High T sub c Superconductors

We present high resolution Bitter patterns which reveal for the first time the magnetic microstructure of the high T sub c superconductor Ba sub 2 YCu sub 3 O sub 7. These patterns allow the direct observation of vorticies as well as connected networks of high flux density.
