Speaker bio: Lieven Levrau is a seasoned Strategic Technology Consultant with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications business. He received an M. Sc. degree in Applied Physics Photonics engineering (University of Brussels (V.U.B. 94) and he has studied Avionics. His work has been characterized by a desire to identify new market opportunities and construct unique technical solutions for company growth, demonstrating a consistent history of cultivating innovation and providing technical direction.

Throughout his career, he has exhibited a passion for exploring fresh market prospects and crafting inventive technical solutions to drive corporate expansion. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in standards organizations such as the IETF, ITU-T, MEF, authored patents, and published several field publications.

Currently, he is a Senior Director of Product Strategy in Nokia's Optical Networking Business Unit (ONBU). His current focus is on establishing and implementing Nokia's strategy for the emerging neutral host market, as well as integrating connectivity automation technologies into global ecosystems and the Innovative Optical and Wireless Network Global Forum.
