Nokia Veturi’s RM4Health project successfully completed

We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the RM4Health (Remote Monitoring in Health & Sports) project – achieving the highest possible score in its final evaluation.

RM4Health is a European collaborative R&D project (ITEA) and part of Nokia Veturi Work Package 2, bringing together leading industry, research, and healthcare partners to accelerate innovation in digital health.

Over the past three years, the consortium has developed an open ecosystem combining wearable technologies, cloud platforms, and advanced data analytics to enable: 

  • Continuous health monitoring
  • Data-driven insights for patients and athletes
  • Digital twin–based and personalized care solutions

Impact

The project demonstrates how connected technologies can transform healthcare by improving early detection, enabling preventive care, and supporting more sustainable healthcare systems.

Nokia’s contribution

Nokia Technologies played a key role by providing expertise in secure connectivity, video coding and transmission, scalable platforms, and data integration, helping ensure seamless communication between devices, cloud systems, and applications.

This achievement highlights the power of European collaboration and showcases how innovations developed within Nokia Veturi initiatives can create real-world impact in health and wellbeing.
