The transport of carriers in superlattice minibands forms the basis of many exciting new concepts (Esaki and Tsu [1]). The occurrence of transport perpendicular to the layers of a superlattice has first been established by CW luminescence using a large well as a probe [2], then by electrical measurements [3].
