Digital Service Unit Automated Parametric Test System

The Digital Unit Automated Parametric Test System (DSU-APTS) was designed to aid in the development and testing of tone receivers implemented in the DSU. It replaces the manually-run tests that were previously used to characterize DSU tone receivers. Because it is automated it allows a more extensive set of tests to be performed on the DSU than had been done in the past. This has led to a high level of confidence in the DSU receivers. It was intended primarily for use with the DSU Model 2 (DSU2) but has been used to perform tests on the DSU Model 1 (DSU1) as well.
