Dual hybrid silicon-photonic laser with fast wavelength tuning

We designed and fabricated a fast-wavelength-tunable hybrid laser diode using two selectable silicon photonic Vernier ring-based cavities. The wavelength could be tuned over more than 30 nm with a switching speed in the nanosecond time scale.
