In recent reports (ITD-04-45711L and ITD-04-45765V) schemes were described, which produce phase-sensitive amplification (PSA) in fibers. In this report the effects on these schemes of polarization misalignment and unbalanced frequency conversion are studied. Moderate amounts of these imperfections do not degrade the performances of the PSA schemes significantly.
