Software Project Management: Early Fault Prevention and Software Integration

Software project management consists of all the technical and management activities, decisions, and controls that are required to purchase, or maintain software throughout the useful life of a computer system or service. Five basic phases often determine the success or failure of a software project: initiation, definition, design, intergration and installation. The life cycle includes all phases from point of inception to final termination of the project. This talk discusses the important considerations that should be addresses in the front end definition and the middle phase of integration.
