Spinodal Decomposition of Isotopic Polymer Mixtures: Linear Analysis

We have taken advantage of the non-ideal mixing behavior (1,2) and small differences in refractive index (~2.2%) characterizing polymer isotopes in an investigation of the dynamics of spinodal decomposition by time dependent light scattering (TDLS). This presentation focuses on the linearized theory for polymer-polymer spinodal decomposition.
