Superconductivity - A High School Teaching Module.

This memorandum is a pedagogical introduction to superconductivity, at an advanced high-school level. It is intended to supplement the high school physics curriculum. Subjects covered include the history, chemistry, physics and technology of superconductivity. Nine experiments are described including a detailed discussion of the preparation of Ba sub 2 YCu sub 3 O sub 7. This module was developed in collaboration with two high school teachers under the auspices of the Rutgers School of Education.
