Superconductivity: Higher Temperature, Interesting Science, Exciting Possibilities

Elastic x' and viscous x'' susceptibilities of a dense Y-Ba-Cu-O superconducting sample were measured by using a carefully calibrated mutual impedence susceptometer in the temperature range from 4.2 K to above T sub c (91 K). The peak applied fields were 24 and 240 A/m at 10, 100 and 1000 Hz.
