We present a new method of topological optimization, based on the computation of a gradient type information. The topological asymptotic gives the sensitivity of an optimization criterion to add or remove a small part of metal inside a structure. Application of this method to the optimization of antenna waveguide feeds allows to determine new solutions for the optimum shape of a component. Several tests on H-plane and E-plane elements have validated the method. We present in this paper the optimization of a E-plane T-junction combined with a bend. With a simple initial condition, the algorithm has found an optimal solution. We also show a first application in 3D for a waveguide bend
