Transmission od Spatially-Multiplexed 3 x 112GB/s PDM-QPSK over 24km of a Coupled-Core 3-Core Fiber with Crosstalk Cancellation

We experimentally demonstrate simultaneous transmission of 3 spatially-multiplexed 56 Gb/s PDM-QPSK channels at the same wavelength over a 24 km of a large effective area high crosstalk 3-core fiber. Near complete cancelation of 4 dB total crosstalk is achieved using MIMO processing. © 2011 Optical Society of America
