Transport Properties of Tl-based Superconductors Prepared by Liquid-Gas-Solidification Process.
01 January 1989
Tl-based superconducting oxides have been fabricated by a novel liquid-gas solidification (LGS) process. The resultant oxides exhibit onset temperature of 120K and zero-resistance above 113K. Critical current densities J sub c obtained from dynamic hysteresis loops at a sweep rate 15.4 kOe/min. and H sub a=9 kOe are ~ 10 sup 6 A/cm sup 2 at 10K and ~ 5 x 10 sup 4 A/cm sup 2 at 60K. Appreciable time effects on magnetic hysteresis loops are seen at loops are seen at 77K.
