Unbiased Spectral Estimation and System Identification Using Short-Time Spectral Analysis Methods
01 October 1979
Although time-domain methods have been in use for system identification and modeling for at least 35 years, no simple, robust procedure has been proposed which uses short-time Fourier transform methods. Classical spectral analysis methods are generally inadequate for all but the simplest cases because of their unsatisfactory properties. 1743 q(n) x (n) h(n) v (n) .A V(n) Fig. 1--Block diagram of the system identification model.
