VoIP Applications

Many engaging VoIP services are already available; even more exciting services are being planned by service providers. Continued deployment of IP networks and IP endpoint devices will enable further development of new services. Also, as the processing capacity of IP endpoints increases -- allowing them to deal directly with networks access controls, multiple data formats and transformations - more innovative and convenient services will become possible. This paper introduces some noteworthy services that are being deployed today, and it highlights a few of the interesting services that might be offered in the future.
