Workshop on Transceiver Arhcitecture and Components in Wireless Communication Systems

This workshop addresses the challenges associated with developing the transceiver architectures and RFIC/SoC components for next generation wireless base stations. An overview of system aspects of wireless voice/data communications will be provided, highlighting various multiple-access techniques and critical elements in the transceiver chain. Trends in the development of 3G wireless communication systems will be discussed with emphasis on low noise SoC design challenges, such as DC to RF migration, mixed-signal and noise interference/substrate cross-talk issues.
