X-ray (XR) and gamma-ray (GR) continuum observations and electron- positron (e sup + e sup -) annihilation line measurements of the Galactic Center (GC) are reviewed indicating the presence of a powerful and unique compact source thought to be a black hole but not necessarily located at Sgr A West.
