Automation is a cornerstone of network transformation initiatives. Achieving level 4 network autonomy, as defined by the TM Forum, is a key near-term objective for many network operators. Join us for an update on how the Network Services Platform (NSP) automates key network operations, including provisioning, assurance, and infrastructure management. Additionally, the session will explore NSP path control use cases for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), IP-optical cross-domain coordination, and AIOps.

Modern networks must strike a balance between scalability, agility, and service quality to support value-added applications, ranging from low-latency gaming to enterprise-grade VPNs. This presentation compares two contrasting traffic engineering paradigms: distributed (autonomous, algorithm-driven) and centralized (orchestrated, controller-based) approaches. We will examine their respective strengths, trade-offs, and real-world applicability in optimizing network resources for emerging services. Can decentralized architectures match the precision of centralized control, and when does each approach excel? Join us for an in-depth exploration of the future of intelligent traffic engineering.

With the increased roll-out of fiber-to-the-home networks and the higher capacity that these networks provide, cable operators are at a crossroads: invest further in their cable plant or move to fiber. Learn more about the road ahead for cable operators and then Frank Cools from Telenet will join us to provide insights into their network evolution.

In this session, Eduard Metz from KPN will share KPN's network transformation into a highly redundant architecture, with SRv6 and BGP/EVPN as key technologies. He will delve into the architecture itself, its drivers, and the migration process, as well as discuss the SRv6 and BGP/EVPN requirements for implementing this new architecture.

Neil Isherwood from Fibrus and Kurt Bauer from ACOnet will share their experiences deploying Deepfield Defender to safeguard both their networks and their customers from DDoS attacks. In this session, they’ll discuss what drove their decision to choose Deepfield, walk through key steps in the deployment process, and provide insights into how the solution has helped them detect and mitigate a range of DDoS threats over the past year.

In this session, Emre Yuva of Türk Telekom will discuss how his team leverages Deepfield Analytics to optimize network performance through data-driven insights. He will explain how analytics informs strategic capacity planning, enables real-time CDN traffic monitoring, and supports intelligent cache deployment and scaling. The session will also highlight how Deepfield enhances perimeter visibility, allowing for smarter traffic engineering and more informed peering decisions. The second half of the session will focus on the crucial role of data in successful AI-driven marketing workflows, and how Deepfield provides the necessary data at scale to support these efforts. 

Join us for an update on the Nokia data center fabric solution, including its software capabilities with SR Linux, its open, extensible, and resilient network operating system and its hardware, with new high-performance, versatile, and reliable platforms.

Join Markus Vögele, Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture at Kyndryl, for a deep dive into upgrading to a 100 Gbps infrastructure. This session will cover the integration of quantum-safe encryption powered by Nokia to protect against quantum computing threats, ensuring robust data security. Explore the implementation of segment routing to optimize network traffic, reduce latency, and enhance performance. Additionally, learn about strategies to achieve a capacity increase by a factor of 10, enabling your network to handle increased demands efficiently. The session will also address cloud access and the role of hyperscalers in scaling your infrastructure to meet the needs of modern applications and services.  This session will highlight which Nokia components are used to build this platform and will explain:
-    GNPP (Global Network Peering Platform) design principles & architecture. How do we model and create access to hyperscalers, cloud providers and Internet access?
-    Use cases & examples. What technologies are used, e.g. SR with IS-IS, IPV4, IPv6, Layer2 services and Layer3 service?
-    Why did we choose to use Nokia 7750-SR1-46s and 7250-IXR-R4?
-    Where are the differences to other vendors?  What challenges did we overcome?

In this session, we will cover updates to EDA delivered in release 25.4, as well as provide a roadmap and a general community update. Additionally, we will demonstrate some new applications being delivered on the EDA store this year, including a purpose-built application designed to automate large-scale AI fabrics.

This session provides insights into the design of back-end data center fabrics for AI training and inference workloads, highlighting the industry's convergence on Ethernet-based fabrics, including ROCEv2 and emerging technologies. Join us to learn about the best practices for fabric design and about recent features in Nokia SR Linux supporting these practices. The session concludes with a look at multi-tenant AI fabrics and how EDA can streamline the management of these fabrics.

Proton took an unconventional approach to their new datacenter build-out by using containerized SR Linux from Nokia and the open-source Containerlab tool to validate their production use cases before committing to physical hardware. This talk shares Proton's practical experience with Containerlab and the SR Linux simulator, highlighting the value of these tools in change management, training, and network automation development.

In this session we will introduce you to Nokia-validated designs (NVDs) for data centers, offering technical guidance for various deployment types and use cases. Specifically, we will delve into the newly released 3-stage EVPN VXLAN NVD, covering design choices, implementation details, server connectivity options, and tested convergence numbers. Additionally, you will see a live demo showing how you can deploy a digital twin for the NVD using Containerlab for fabric instantiation and EDA for full orchestration.

This session provides a technical overview of Nokia SR OS node-hardening features specifically designed for Operational Technology (OT) environments. Key topics include secure boot, control plane protection, and secure management interfaces. We will also delve into the implementation of quantum-safe encryption using MACsec and the protection of Ethernet links against emerging threats. Learn how to design and deploy resilient, future-proof OT networks using Nokia secure IP routing solutions, which combine industry standards with real-world technology implementations.

The emergence of quantum computers poses a significant threat to current encryption solutions, compromising the security of modern networks. This session will delve into three encryption protocols that can be used at the Ethernet, MPLS, and IP layers. We’ll examine their strengths and limitations, as well as the solutions that can be employed to ensure the long-term security of your network infrastructure.

Emerging real-time and autonomic applications demand low-latency connectivity for telemetry and closed-loop control. In this session, we will break down the factors contributing to network latency and explain how to measure them. We will then explore options for optimizing network topology, architecture, routing strategy, and security to deliver differentiated low-latency services for emerging edge AI haptic and autonomic applications.

Fixed wireless access is helping service providers bridge the digital divide and expand broadband coverage efficiently. This session will explore various options for wholesaling access infrastructure, with a focus on how each approach integrates with a Nokia IP/MPLS network. We will analyze the pros and cons of each model, providing you with the insights you need to make informed decisions that align with your network and market strategies.

Twenty years of SReXperts also marks twenty years of delivering reliable IP multicast. Over time, the technology and its use cases have evolved significantly. Today, it's common for on-demand content streaming via unicast to be combined with major events broadcasting via multicast. This presentation will provide an update on the current multicast capabilities in SR OS, highlighting key use cases and exploring the role of multicast in the IP networks of today and tomorrow.

This session explores the growing interest in satellite space networks, driven by significant deployments of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites and constellations. Simon will provide an overview of satellite space networks covering their architecture and technologies. Then Joe Apa and Pablo Burgos from Rivada Space Networks will present a use-case, highlighting their plans to deliver end-to-end business MEF services via a future LEO satellite constellation.
