Digital Rights Management (DRM)
DRM (Digital Rights Management) allows authors to protect their work from theft and unnecessary access, while ensuring that authorized users can easily access their material.
To view Nokia SRC DRM protected materials, you need:
- Internet connection
- Recent version of Adobe Reader
- FileOpen plugin
You can download and install the FileOpen plugin from the following location: http://plugin.fileopen.com/all.aspx
At this moment, only Nuage Networks VCP and Nokia SRC material are DRM protected.
Assuming you have accessed your courseware on a specific device before, you can continue to re-access it on said device for up to 7 days without internet connection. After the 7th day, the material will be inaccessible until you have a chance to reconnect to the internet and provide login details again. You must be connected to the internet the first time you open DRM protected courseware.
You can access your material on up to 6 devices.
Please contact learning.services@nokia.com outlining a reason to place a request for more devices.
Viewing courseware on mobile devices is not officially supported nor recommended as the material can be large and difficult to read on a small screen. FileOpen does feature apps you can download on various mobile operating systems; you may choose to authorize your mobile devices and view material on them at your own discretion
Your DRM username password should have been sent to you in an email when you received your materials. If you did not receive the email or have lost the email, please contact learning.services@nokia.com.
Presently, you are unable to change your DRM password. If you feel your password needs to be changed, please contact learning.servies@nokia.com

Certifications
There are three certifications in the SRC Program:
- NRS I: Nokia Network Routing Specialist I
- NRS II: Nokia Network Routing Specialist II
- SRA: Nokia Service Routing Architect
For more information, go to https://networks.nokia.com/src/certifications
It can take 8-12 weeks for shipment of diplomas, tile(s) and plaques. Shipping times will vary by country. The fulfillment status of your materials can found in the Student Portal, under the "My Certification Activity" tab, in "My Program History".
Verify if your material is on hold. Shipment of material is placed on hold until candidates verify their postal address. In order to ensure proper delivery, you will need to verify your postal address in the Nokia Student Portal. To do so, log in to the Nokia Student Portal at https://nokia.com/networks/training/src/studentportal and confirm your address information. Materials will not ship until your postal address is verified.
You can view your certification progress in the Student Portal by clicking on the “My Certification Progress” under the “My Certification Activity” menu. You will be able to view your current certifications, progress towards certification, expiration dates, as well as other details relating to your certification activities.
Once logged into the SRC Student Portal, click on "Verify My Certification" in the top navigation. Follow the instructions provided to send them verification of your certification via email.
By passing any higher-level exam, you will auto-renew your current certification. The new expiration date of your certification would be three years from the date when you take the higher-level exam.
Certifications will be given to participants who have passed the mandatory written and practical lab exams required for their chosen certification track.
- Prevent your certification from terminating.
- Ensure your skills and knowledge are evolving in lock-step with the continuous changes in IP service routing.
- Continue to network with a community of leading-edge Service Routing experts.
- Receive an industry-respected diploma attesting to your certification level and accomplishment.
Please refer to the Recertification page.
Your certification will expire three years from the date your certification was awarded. If you achieve a higher-level certification, the expiration and termination dates for all of your certifications will be reset to the date of the higher-level certification. Writing higher-level exams will reset the date of the certification to three years from the date of the higher-level exam.
You can recertify at any time. Ensure that you recertify prior to your certification termination date.
If you do not recertify prior to your certification termination date, your certification will be terminated. Once a certification is terminated, you lose all benefits of the certification. You will also need to meet all original certification requirements again to re-obtain the certification. If you do re-obtain it, you will be issued a new certification ID and diploma.
Expiration is the date three years after which your certification was awarded. You can still recertify while in an expired state. Termination is the date six months after that, at which point you must restart your certification track.
For more information about certifications, please send your inquiries to learning.services@nokia.com.
