Biography

Bilgehan is a Senior Researcher at Nokia Bell Labs. His recent work drives the development of autonomous, agentic network systems, with an emphasis on formal frameworks and reference architectures that ensure these AI-driven networks are reliable, trustworthy, and governable under uncertainty. He has pioneered new approaches — such as a typed agentic service calculus linking semantic service assurances with dynamic reliability control — and co-authored system-level architectures that embed agentic AI and oversight mechanisms into network operations for safe, dependable autonomy. With more than thirty patents issued or pending, Bilgehan’s work continues to shape forward-looking advancements in network automation and trustworthy AI-driven connectivity.
