ABLE (Advancing Black Leadership and Excellence) is dedicated to empowering and advancing the African American and African descent community within Nokia. Our mission is to foster professional growth, expand educational and career opportunities, and support economic and cultural development.

Our work is guided by three core principles - Sustain, Revive, and Energize - which shape our strategy and drive our initiatives. Through these pillars, ABLE is committed to creating meaningful impact both within Nokia and in the broader community.

Our key activities include:

  • Partnering with local NSBE chapters at colleges and universities
  • Delivering workshops and hosting on-campus site visits
  • Collaborating with Nokia’s Talent & Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts for interns, co-ops, and graduate hires
  • Leading sponsorship and donation initiatives on behalf of ABLE
  • Organizing community service and outreach programs
  • Supporting STEM-focused volunteer events

Through these efforts, ABLE continues to cultivate opportunity, strengthen connections, and inspire future leaders.
