Course number: OS00115-W-2200

Course duration: 2 hours

Price: €200

Course overview

This eLearning course enables learners to develop a strong theoretical and practical understanding of NSP Infrastructure Configuration Management operations.  Learn the relationships between configuration intent types, configuration templates and configuration deployments.  Discover how operators use defined configuration templates to deploy both physical and logical configurations, including setting flexible attributes and selecting either individual targets or pre-defined groups.  Learn the lifecycle states of both configuration templates and configuration instances. Learn how to migrate configuration instances from one template to another and demonstrate how the intent-based system tackles configuration drift through the usage of audit and align functionalities. This course is based on NSP version 22.6.

Course objectives

After completing the course, students should be able to:

  • Describe the NSP Infrastructure Configuration Management (ICM) solution and process.

  • Describe the differences between physical and logical configuration templates.

  • Explain the configuration template lifecycle states.

  • Explain the difference between global and local configuration.

  • Describe and demonstrate how to create an infrastructure template.

  • Describe and demonstrate physical and logical configuration deployments.

  • Demonstrate how to migrate objects between configuration templates.

  • Explain the audit and align functionalities.
