Optional sightseeing tour of Rome
Rome has undoubtedly the most captivating and picturesque squares in the world due to their gigantic wide-open space as well their historical and cultural surroundings. Our winding city walking tour will take guests through Piazza Navona, Piazza della Rotondaand Piazza di Spagna- where your knowledgeable tour guides will explain the history of three classic examples of well-designed spaces that brim with artistic heritage. In 2000 yearsPiazza Navona has become one of the most spectacular urban complexes of Baroque Rome thanks to the work of Bernini who built, at its centre, the fountain of Four Rivers to celebrate the Pamphilyfamily. Piazza della Rotondahouses the most ambitious Roman temple built for the emperor Augustus. The Pantheon has been a religious and sacred centrefor 20 centuries. The dome, one the most famous examples of the Roman building technique, is one of the largest of the town. Piazza di Spagnais the romantic center of the papal Rome houses, with the most famous example of stairs in the world. Just a short walk away, in the square Trinità deiMonti you will experience the wonderous Trevifountain. Three popes contributed to the creation of the most iconic fountain of Rome, at the end of the Virgo Aqueduct.

From reporting to machine learning insights: A look at the evolution of analytics
An extensive look at multiple network analytics use cases for network planners, engineers and operators. See how the Analytics suite of applications can make sense of the vast amount of data available in NSP, and present it in intuitive and readily consumable formats for troubleshooting, monitoring, and event-driven automation. Take a look at the advanced machine learning use cases available now, and what is on the horizon.
Facilitating day to day management operations of enterprise networks
The NSP (Network Services Platform) is embedding some ready-to-use functions with the goal of simplifying the day-to-day job of the operators. The presentation will go through the configuration aspect with a focus to ensure that the designed configuration is really applied in the network and how to visualize the deviations. These deviations can have a security impact and the presentation will have a view on some nodal security rules. Operational state is also important, and NSP from its dashboard can give quick and simple access to the information. The presentation will go through some of them analytic reporting. Last, the presentation will go through an automation use case using the framework capability, like Service migration from a legacy node to a new one.

EVPN advancements in security performance resilience and efficiency (SRL+SROS)
The base EVPN technology is now prevalent and has become widely used in Data Centers (along with VXLAN tunnels) and Service Provider networks (along with MPLS and Segment Routing MPLS tunnels). However, new transport technologies such as SRv6, or new Data Center containerized applications are bringing new issues that need to be addressed. How can we leverage the extensibility of EVPN to address these new issues? This session answers that question and looks at the latest Advancements of EVPN in the IETF, in the industry and in the Nokia routers Network Operating Systems, SROS and SR Linux.
DDoS and QUIC: A Dangerous Romance
Traditional DDoS attacks (amplification, TCP flooding, etc.) continue hitting the networks every day. But there is an emerging threat joining the DDoS game: the exponential adoption of QUIC. While QUIC offers benefits such as improved encryption and reduced latency, it also creates new vulnerabilities that attackers can exploit to launch more powerful DDoS attacks that can circumvent traditional DDoS protection measures. Come and join us to understand the risk and how Nokia Deepfield uses AI/ML and Bigdata in combination with our FP4/FP5 ASICs to implement a scalable and cost-efficient protection within your network against QUIC-based and all other types of DDoS attacks
Network operations in a cloud-native world
The evolution of NSP towards a cloud-native architecture will be presented, with the objective to have NSP deployed through commercial off the shelf on-prem container management systems, as a step towards the eventual target of having NSP running on public clouds. This evolution towards cloud-native, together with a model-driven API centric architecture, opens up a new dimension as to how NSP-based network services across the WAN can be consumed by automated systems through the northbound APIs of NSP. New use cases leveraging cloud native computing foundation (CNCF) systems together with NSP will be presented.

Evening networking event
Only 15 minutes from the Marriott Rome Park, the Corte di Arenaro is a typical Roman farmhouse, immersed in a vast pine forest. It dates back to the beginning of the last century, when land reclamation began in the area of Lazio. These new areas were a challenge for many architects, including Michele Busiri Vici, who designed the centre of Arenaro, so called because of the large quantity of sandstone found there. In 1946, the initial project was extended, by one of the most famous Italian architects, Pierluigi Nervi, to the construction of a very unusual hall, really original in terms of form, size and volume: an area of 600 sqm, with a single covering which, without columns, traces a series of circular lines.

Palo Alto Networks software Next-Generation Firewalls
As businesses embrace Private Wireless Networks and Edge Computing in their digital transformation journey, there is a perception that network security has already been addressed by the standards that define it. While 3GPP has done excellent work to secure the numerous interfaces used for communication within a mobile core, there are still steps that should be taken to bring visibility and security to the entire mobile network, including the users and the array of devices operating there. Palo Alto Networks software Next-Generation Firewalls deployed on Nokia’s industrial edge platform (MXIE) use AI and ML to prevent sophisticated cyber threats in OT and IT environments, without adding physical hardware to the network. Our collaboration with Nokia enables advanced security on both the IT and OT sides of the network to bring a multi-factor zero trust model to the entire organization.
The future network belongs to those who secure it today
This session will present a step change in how to accelerate the selection and validation of the best and most secure network solutions. Operators can benefit from pre-validated solution blueprints to ensure best-in-class performance and the right level of security, while eliminating months of planning, testing and validation. Intent based multi-domain networking
This presentation illustrates the use of the SR OS Segment Routing toolkit to forward packets of flows to the appropriate multi-domain transport tunnels such as to achieve a set of service-level objectives. This is referred to as intent-based, or sometimes color-aware, networking and the intent is the networking abstract for the service level objectives. The presentation details the various mechanisms available to map each flow to its corresponding intent and how the intent is signaled and enforced between egress PE and ingress PE across a multi-domain network. The presentation highlights the key role Segment Routing MPLS (SR-MPLS) plays in this application and addresses the interworking and transparent enforcement of the intent across SR-MPLS and Segment Routing IPv6 (SRv6) domains with the emerging role of SRv6 in specific use cases.
