Leslie Shannon has been in the mobile telephone industry for 25 years, including 20 years on the Networks side of Nokia. Currently located in Silicon Valley, she is Nokia’s Head of Ecosystem and Trend Scouting. In this role, she explores emerging technologies from outside the world of telecommunications to create an understanding of what is coming, and then to communicate that vision so that Nokia and its customers can be prepared to meet and prosper from new opportunities.
Her current focuses include the Spatial Internet, AR/VR, Visual Analytics, Robotics, Drones, and many other innovations that are together creating an entirely new relationship between humans and computers.
Leslie holds an MA from Yale University and has traveled to over 70 countries in the course of her work for Nokia over the years.
