The annual Nokia Health & Safety Recognition Awards recognizes and showcases internal Nokia’s teams and external partners and suppliers for their outstanding achievements in Health, Safety, Security and Wellbeing.
Nokia recognizes suppliers who have made significant improvements and often exceeded expectations across Health, Safety and Security.
Health & Safety Awards Supplier Safety & Security Excellence winners 2026
We are delighted to announce our 2026 winners of Nokia’s Health & Safety Recognition Awards:
- IMPECOM SAS - presented by Johanna Jiménez Montoya. This winner launched a safety campaign which emotionally connected with the workers on-site to improve safety behavior.
- Cellcom - presented by EzEldeen Najim. The winning entry showcased an in-depth approach to aligning the leadership and site teams to provide safer and faster rescues.
- Reecomps Teleservices Pvt Ltd - India - presented by Prasad Keluskar. This project won by transforming the way the supplier worked with their own suppliers and partners and built a genuine, shared safety culture.
We are delighted to announce our 2025 winners of Nokia’s Health & Safety Recognition Awards:
- Affsaf – for their automated permit-to-work process ensuring compliance at every stage, from permit issuance to site access control and ongoing monitoring.
- PT INDOHR – who developed a program called Site Coaching, an independent audit to ensure everyone on site was adhering to Nokia Life Saving Rules.
- Universal Telecom - implemented an enhanced risk programme designed to be proactive rather than reactive.
Additionally, the jury gave a special mention to Deltatel for their Precision in Health & Safety project

- Indeplo Colombia, with innovative drone site safety inspections.
- Gravity Training from South Africa, with exceptional focus on safety while working at height.
- Deltatel in Europe, for their exceptional safety culture and worker empowerment.
- Iftheqhar Ahmed Sailani, representing ‘Zero Harm Experience’, by Johnson Controls India
- Onesmo Ferdinand, representing ‘Overcoming Barriers to Health & Safety Excellence’, by Maktech, Tanzania
- Augustin d'Estienne d'Orves, representing ‘Site Risk Reduction’, by Sodexo, Global
- PE SV Telecom, Ukraine (Honorable Mention): “ For helping Nokia keep Ukraine connected during the Russia invasion”
