Automatic frequency control for a pulsed klystron

Describes a system which automatically controls the frequency of a pulsed klystron operating in the 3 to 5 cm band, by comparing its frequency with that of a stable microwave reference cavity. The frequency-error information derived from any one pulse is delayed and then used to correct the frequency of succeeding pulses. Stability of better than plusmn1 Mc/s can be obtained.
