Simple, Effective, Dynamic Channel Allocation for Cellular Systems

We describe a novel DYNAMIC CHANNEL ALLOCATION scheme for cellular systems which has good co-channel interference properties. For example, our scheme gives blocking probabilities an order of magnitude lower than FIXED CHANNEL ALLOCATION at the latter's 1% blocking level and is always better, even in heavy traffic. It is also better than RANDOM ALLOCATION except in very light traffic.
