Designed for growth and innovation
Nokia has a governance model aimed at enabling Nokia to shape industry trends and to monetize the intellectual property we build in order to deliver predictable revenue and high-margin profit growth.
Our five businesses report to Nokia President and Chief Executive Officer, Rajeev Suri. These businesses are: Mobile Networks, Fixed Networks, Applications & Analytics, IP/Optical Networks, and Nokia Technologies.
Each business is run by a group president who reports to Mr. Suri. Each business group has strategic, operational, and financial responsibility for its portfolio and is fully accountable for meeting its targets.
In addition to the business groups and their respective leaders, there are seven additional unit leaders who report directly to the President and CEO. The seven additional unit leader positions are: Chief Financial Officer, Chief Customer Operations Officer, Chief Innovation & Operating Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Legal Officer.
The primary operative decision-making body for the company is the Nokia Group Leadership Team. The Group Leadership Team is responsible for Group level matters, including the execution of company’s strategy and overall business portfolio.
For financial reporting purposes, as of Q1 2016 Nokia expects to align its financial reporting under two areas: the overall Networks business, comprising Mobile Networks, Fixed Networks, Applications & Analytics, and IP/Optical Networks; and secondly, under Nokia Technologies.
Nokia provides selective financial data separately for each of the four Networks’ business groups to ensure transparency for investors about the performance of each group, in addition to various financial data on the Nokia Technologies business.
