The problem of antenna array interference cancellation in an OFDM system is addressed. Sparse Co-Channel Interference (SCCI) model is derived, which reflects scenarios when different symbols and subcarriers of the desired signal may be affected by different CCI. Joint interpolation-estimation approach for antenna array weights is formulated, which is based on parametric modeling of the weights in a frequency domain. Using this approach, the training-based and semi-blind optimization criteria and algorithms are developed. It is demonstrated by simulations that the proposed semi-blind techniques allows effective suppression of the SCCI. The simulation scenarios include the HIPERLAN/2 propagation channel.
