ENABLING RICH COMMUNICATION WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR TELEVISION

AmigoTV is a prototype implementation that combines broadcast television with rich communication and community support in order to create a rich social experience. This application reflects the new culture in design of interactive media. It is a result of a mix of inspirations found in for example The Experience Economy by B. Joseph Pine Il and James H. Gilmore' published in 1999 and our own team objectives: *create innovative application experiences for the broadband family, leveraging Alcatel's service platforms and broadband solutions'. AmigoTV transforms the TV from a passive entertainment box into an active and immersive communication tool for close communities.
