Englin gulf test range

The Englin Gulf Test Range is designed for the research, development, and operational testing of short-range guided missiles of surface-to-air, air-to-surface, and air-to-air varieties and for training of missile squadrons. The facility allows for the simultaneous launching of up to three missiles against three target drones. A description is given of the tracking systems telemetry, and command and guidance systems. A high degree of versatility is available in the facility for handling a large variety of range requirements.
