Erbium-doped planar waveguide amplifiers integrated with silica waveguide technology

We will describe Er-doped aluminosilicate waveguide amplifiers integrated with 980nm/1550nm WDM on Silicon Optical Bench and report on their performance. Recent progress in Er-doped waveguide amplifiers will be reviewed.
