Evolution of Intelligence in Network Based Services

The introduction of ISDN is becoming a reality. Many switch vendors have started introducing ISDN based services to enable and customers and PITs to realize savings in their facilities and management of the network. The savings have been amply demonstrated and proven with the SS#7 network that has been and is continuing to be deployed widely. Together, ISDN and SS#7 offer PTT administrations and third party service providers an opportunity to trial and offer many new services.
