Experimental analysis of 100Gb/s coherent PDM-QPSK long-haul transmission under constraints of typical terrestrial networks

Coherent transmission systems using PDM-QPSK format are found particularly robust to the constraints of all-erbium amplifiers based, transparent terrestrial networks when operating at 100 Gb/s channel rate.
